If you're undecided about which method to use for your micro locs journey, please read the following for more information:
Braidlocks: ideal for short, kinky, or coarse hair types. Produces the least amount of frizzing, bunching, and budding. Remains neat and lightweight, with minimal to no shrinkage or slippage. Takes the longest to fade or lose the braided pattern.
Two strand twists: Best for medium to long natural hair. Appears the fullest regardless of hair density and texture. The overall style typically resembles the shape of loose hair in its natural state (without products). Although it is a favorite amongst clients, this method has the most slippage, shrinkage, bunching, and frizzing.
Interlocks: Suitable for very short to long natural hair. Resembles mature micro locs almost immediately. The least suseptible to slippage. Ideal for clients who prefer a sleek and uniform set of locs. Takes the longest to install, which comes with a higher price.
For all installations, clients receive interlocking at the roots to secure their micro locs in place. I offer three parting sizes, small (0.5 inches), extra small (1 cm), and micro (0.3 inches). You can choose a random, bricklayered, or sisterlock's grid. I provide a thorough breakdown of what to do and when with product recommendations for every client who books with me. Interlocking maintenance includes the shampoo & conditioning service, with options for styling and other add-ons.
