Ready to start or elevate your loc journey? Our personalized consultation service is your essential first step! We require all new clients interested in loc installations or repairs to book a consultation first. This ensures we're on the same page and can provide the best possible service for your unique locs.
What to Expect:
This is your chance to get all your questions answered and for us to get to know your hair. We'll dive deep into:
• Your Hair's Current State: We'll assess your hair type, scalp health, and the current condition of your locs (if applicable).
Please arrive for the consultation with your hair or locs freshly shampooed, conditioned, and air-dried in its natural state. Your hair must be completely loose, unstyled, and free of products or recent manipulation to allow for an accurate assessment of the natural texture and density. If the hair is blow-dried, flat- ironed, styled, or has just been taken down from braids or twists, you will need to reschedule with a new deposit to ensure the best results for the service.
For new loc installations, your natural hair needs to be a minimum of three to four inches long.
• Your Loc Goals: We want to hear your vision! Whether you're dreaming of a specific loc size, length, or just want to understand the process, we'll help you create a roadmap. You'll also receive a personalized quote for our services.• Maintenance & Product Advice: Get insider tips on how to keep your locs healthy and thriving, along with personalized product recommendations just for you.
Availability (by appointment):
Saturdays: 8:15 am- 9:15 am EST
Duration: up to 20 minutes
Location: via Zoom or In-person. You'll receive the Zoom link, or physical address in your appointment confirmation email.

*Please note that booking the consultation does not guarantee an appointment. To ensure that you are a good candidate for our loc services please email us at Mukisalocs@gmail.com with current pictures of your hair including the entire hairline, crown, sides, middle, and nape area.*
The deposit is non-refundable. A 48-hour notice is REQUIRED for appointment rescheduling, with no exceptions. You can reschedule ONE TIME; the new date must be within 1 month of your original appointment. A canceled meeting, regardless of notice, will result in a forfeited deposit.
