Consultation service

This mandatory 20-minute consultation is your essential first step to healthy, beautiful locs with Mukisa Locs. We offer these personalized sessions both in-person and conveniently via Zoom.

Please note: This consultation is exclusively for new clients interested in loc maintenance services and does not cover new loc installations.

During your session, we'll:

* Thoroughly assess your locs and discuss your hair history, current condition, and goals.

* Accurately determine the ideal service duration and pricing for your specific loc count and needs.

* Clarify our specialized techniques and recommend the best home care routine to ensure you're fully aligned with our approach.

Book this consultation first! After your consultation, you'll be able to schedule your loc maintenance appointment. The consultation fee will be applied towards your first maintenance service.

Availability: Fridays, 4 pm - 5 pm EST, by appointment.

Duration: up to 20 minutes

Location: via Zoom or In-person. You'll receive the Zoom link, or physical address in your appointment confirmation email.

*The consultation is a requirement for all clients seeking maintenance services. To prepare for your consultation, please ensure to shampoo, condition, and air dry your locs within 24 hours of your appointment. Please do not use any styling products (ie gel, wax, pomade, grease, or cream). Please do not stretch or style your hair with braids, twists, curls, ponytails, or apply heat with a blow dryer. Your hair must be in its natural state for proper assessment, otherwise you will need to reschedule.*

*Please note that booking the consultation does not guarantee an appointment. To ensure that you are a good candidate for our loc services please email us at Mukisalocs@gmail.com with current pictures of your hair including the entire hairline, crown, sides, middle, and nape area.*

The deposit is non-refundable. A 48-hour notice is REQUIRED for appointment rescheduling, with no exceptions. You can reschedule ONE TIME; the new date must be within 1 month of your original appointment. A canceled meeting, regardless of notice, will result in a forfeited deposit.
