Our personalized consultation service is the essential first step for all new clients interested in loc installations, micro locs, loc extensions, or restoration services. During this dedicated 20-minute session, we will evaluate your hair, discuss your vision, and align on custom pricing, installation details, and a tailored roadmap for your hair goals.

​What We Will Cover

  • ​Hair & Scalp Assessment: Evaluation of your hair type, density, scalp health, and current loc condition (if applicable).
  • ​Goal & Parameter Selection: Discussion of your desired loc size, length, and installation method, along with a custom service recommendation.
  • ​Custom Quote & Roadmap: Clear breakdown of estimated pricing, installation requirements, and home care recommendations.

​Important Booking Policies

​Please review prior to reserving your consultation.

  • ​Candidacy & Photo Submission (Required Before Booking): To determine if you are a candidate for our techniques and ensure our services are fully aligned with your hair goals, please email clear photos of your current hair (front, back, and both sides) to Mukisalocs@gmail.com prior to reserving your consultation spot.
  • ​Non-Refundable Consultation Fee: All consultation fees ($30.00) are strictly non-refundable and separate from all service costs, hair orders, and installation deposits. Consultation fees do not apply toward future services.
  • ​Hair Preparation: Arrive (or log in via Zoom) with freshly shampooed, conditioned, and air-dried hair completely free of products, oils, or heavy manipulation.
    • ​For Loose Natural Hair: Your entire head must be loose, fully taken down, and completely visible in its natural state. Hair cannot be in a ponytail, braid-out, twist-out, or recent style take-down, nor can only a few sections be undone. Natural hair must be at least 3 to 4 inches long.
    • ​For Existing Locs: Locs must be clean, loose, and unstyled (no take-down required).
    • ​Unprepared hair cannot be properly assessed and forfeits the consultation fee.
  • ​Scheduling & Non-Refundable Installation Deposits: A consultation does not hold installation dates. Openings are limited and reserved strictly on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of a paid, non-refundable installation deposit.
  • ​30-Day Quote Expiration: Custom installation quotes and service parameters are valid for 30 days. If an installation appointment is not secured within 30 days, a new consultation will be required.
  • ​48-Hour Revision Window: Following deposit submission, any parameter adjustments (length, parting size, count, or extension color—we do not offer chemical hair coloring) must be emailed to Mukisalocs@gmail.com within 48 hours. Beyond this window, all details are permanently locked.
  • ​Rescheduling & No-Shows: Saturday spots are strictly limited. A 48-hour notice is required to reschedule your consultation (permitted once within 30 days). Missed appointments, late reschedules, or late cancellations forfeit the non-refundable fee without exception.
